12th ANNUAL DRUM TOURNAMENT

MARCH 12, 2010 THRU APRIL 18, 2010

The Nassau Sport Fishing Association welcomes you to the 12th Annual Drum Tournament. We are hoping for another great tournament. The tournament will run for five weeks. Cash prizes will be awarded based on number of entrants. 80%of total entry fees collected will be paid out as prizes. 50% to winner, 30% to second place and 20% to third place. The tournament will also include a Tournament within a Tournament, explained below, and all participating anglers will be eligible for a drawing at the awards program. Other prizes include (1) free entry in next years tournament and other items. You must be present to win.

ENTRY FEE:

$40.00 per angler.
All prizes awarded at NSFA Social Meeting on April 28, 2010 at 7:00pm.

TOURNAMENT WITHIN A TOURNAMENT (T-N-T) $10.00 EXTRA

Each angler entered in the T-N-T and weighing a fish will be entered in a drawing to be held at the end of the tournament.Winner of the drawing will collect 100% of monies paid in T-N-T entry fees.

CAPTAIN’S MEETING:

Captain’s meeting will be held at K.A.C. (Ten Acres) at 7:00pm, Friday March 12, 2010. All tournament anglers should attend. We will have hotdogs and soft drinks at the meeting. We will have raffle drawings for prizes: Rod & Reel Combo, etc. You must be present to win.

Tournament will start immediately following the Captain’s meeting.

Registration will remain open until 8:00pm @ Captains Meeting.

WEIGH-IN INFORMATION:

All fish must be weighed in at Leaders and Sinkers Bait & Tackle shop between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm each day. When you weigh in your fish, you will get a weigh slip.. Make sure the weigh slip has both date and time. Keep the weigh slip to claim your prize. **You also keep the fish. (See below) Photos of you and your fish will be taken at weighin for our on-going scrapbook, newspaper articles and web-site. In the unlikely event of a tie, the fish weighed earliest in the tournament will win. **1 fish per day, per angler will be eligible for weigh-in. Scales close and Tournament ends on April 18, 2010 at 6:00pm.

BOUNDARIES:
Southern boundary is the Duval side of Nassau Sound.
Northern boundary is Marker 44 at King’s Bay.

A REMINDER:
The law allows one Drum over 24 inches per angler/per day. Florida requires a current saltwater fishing license which must be presented at weigh-in. No fish will be weighed without a current license presented. All winners subject to a polygraph test

**The NSFA encourages that all fish caught be used as table fare and not discarded. The NSFA will accept any fish weighed or otherwise as a donation that will be immediately forwarded to Kingdom Ministries Church of God, Rev. Avant Pastor, to provide food for the needy, less fortunate citizens throughout the community. Last year several fish were donated and Rev. Avant said that many people benefited from those donations.
